DEICIDE - To Hell WIth God
“To Hell With God” adalah debut mereka bersama Century Media dan ketika memutar lagu pertama, ‘To Hell With God’ kekhawatiranku akan pengulangan “Till Death Do Us Part” pun musnah.
“To Hell With God” menjadi album penuh kesepuluh

Brutal Truth - End Time (2011)
Brutal Truth is one of those bands first mentioned when speaking of grindcore, and are usually regarded pretty high with most.
Most reviews I've found say this album is, while nothing groundbreaking,
a still refreshing take on an aging genre. 'More mature' is a phrase
used to describe this album - and while I can't say I'm the most
prestigious BT fan, I can agree. It's a more organized and .. thought
out? album, maybe slightly more technical as far as instrumentality. It
still rips face and shows that even old dogs can .. chew the fucking
shit outta you!
maybe worm will chime in later

Chimaira - The Age Of Hell (2011)

Quite
frankly, I totally forgot about this band. And it did surprise me to
see a new album, especially because I enjoyed the previous one so much.
It saddens me to say it, but the new one fails miserably.
After the self-titled album
and The Infection, which were colossally good albums, they managed to
spit in their own faces by releasing an album which is, simply put,
empty and dull. Not one song managed to move me, in any way whatsoever.
However, if you're a hardcore fan - you're gonna tell me to fuck off, so nevermind. Enjoy.

The Unborn Dead - Primitive Origins (2011)

Discovery
of the month for me, probably. The matter in question is a debut album
of a brutal Canadian troop. They had an EP, and have now decided that a
full-length is in order. It's out and it's waiting for you to grab it.
The Unborn Dead plays, to
put it simply, brutal death metal. However, if you scratch beneath the
surface, you'll realize that there is much more to it, as the songs are
really complex and contain a variety of melodic riffs which successfully
break down the monotony of tons of blast beats that the genre provides.
The vocals are also really diverse and should pull you in
instantaneously, providing you with a daily dose of quality growls,
screams and grunts.
Get it, enjoy it.

Revocation - Chaos of Forms (2011)
Wormpaste says: Quality technical and melodic death/thrash, just like the previous Revocation releases. The style and sound hasn't really changed, so if you liked the earlier stuff, you'll probably dig this too. I'll go ahead and re-upload the rest of their discography.
Update: Discography reuploaded, get it here.

Skálmöld - Baldur (Napalm Records Reissue 2011)
Skálmöld
is probably the only Icelandic band I have ever listened to; with that
being said they make a really good first impression on behalf of there
country. Genre wise, I personally think they walk the line between a
folk and viking metal band. This album was originally released back in
2010 and it made such an impression, that Napalm Records picked these
guys up. Thankfully the reissue gave us a little extra content which was
 an added bonus.
They have a very original sound
which I think stems from the vocals but in the same vein everything is
brought together so well because they don't make the sophomore folk
metal band mistake and rape you with the keyboards. The riffing is quite
technical and there drumming has a nice bombastic feel to it which
flows quite nicely with there tempos.
Skálmöld
wouldn't be the first folk metal band to open with a simply sung song
in there native tongue; in any case it really settled me into the
Icelandic vocals. Europe has no doubt become the epicenter of folk metal
and that makes an album such as this, a breath of fresh air. My
highlights for this album are "Kvaðning" and "Baldur". A concise review
of these two alone would be quite simply the flow, melody and vocals are
spot on. I hope the follow up to this the band will take more of a
focus on crafting more diverse melodies but my complaints are minor the
whole album has really great flow and pacing. I give this one an 8/10
and am excited to to hear more from them.
